Company and Project Overview
Go Get Em Tiger is a Los Angeles-based specialty coffee roaster committed to creating a meaningful impact on lives by caring for and sharing the beautiful coffees of the world. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced contract salesperson to expand our wholesale coffee production by 4,000–7,000 lbs per week. This is a commission-only contract role designed for a sales professional with a proven track record in specialty coffee sales and a robust network of contacts.
Our objective is to rapidly scale our wholesale production, targeting institutional and office accounts that can order 200+ lbs weekly, with an initial milestone of 1,000 lbs by April 2025. The contract will remain active until completion of the sales goals set forth at the time of signing, with a maximum length of 8 months.
Scope of Work
- Account Acquisition: Identify, engage, and onboard high-volume wholesale coffee accounts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture client relationships to ensure sustained partnerships.
- Strategic Outreach: Focus on target account types that align with production goals.
- Collaboration: Work with GGET’s roasting and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Target lbs/week and Timeline
- Milestone 1: Add 1,000 lbs of weekly orders by April 2025.
- Milestone 2: Add additional 3,000–6,000 lbs of weekly orders by August, 2025.
- Cumulative target: 4,000-7,000 lbs of weekly orders by September, 2025.
Target and Non-Target Account Types
Target Accounts
- Institutional distributors (e.g., food service providers, office coffee programs)
- Contract coffee roasting partnerships (white and private label opportunities)
- Large office spaces with centralized coffee programs
- Specialty retailers with significant coffee needs (200+ lbs/week)
Non-target Accounts
- Small cafes, restaurants, or “down-the-street” accounts with limited volume potential
- Grocery and accounts requiring buyback, trade spend, and other pay-to-play commitments
- Accounts requiring heavy service, maintenance, high-touch solutions
Compensation, Commission Structure and Earnings potential
This is a commission-only role with earning potential based on performance. Commissions are calculated as a percentage of revenue, paid upon receipt of customer payment.
- Tiered commission rates per account:
- Tier 1 (200-499 lbs ordered/week): 3%
- Tier 2 (500-999 lbs ordered/week): 4%
- Tier 3 (1000+ lbs ordered/week): 5%
Mileage, T&E, and Other Financial Considerations
- $250/month mileage stipend
- T&E: Approved travel and entertainment expenses reimbursed, with prior authorization.
- Phone plan reimbursement up to $50/month

Required Experience, Training, and Education
- High-school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years professional coffee wholesale sales experience.
- Experience working with institutional coffee distributors.
- Experience on the customer-facing side of specialty coffee, a plus.

- A firm understanding of and willingness to uphold GGET standards and values.
- Strong executive functioning skills: attention to detail, time management, planning, problem solving, organization.
- Ability to quickly immerse yourself in the details of new product.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to engage potential customers, listen, build rapport, assess customer needs, and quickly adjust a pitch to changing dynamics of the interaction.
- Following up with new customers to gauge their satisfaction and building customer relationships.
